An extension of Saxe, the fine dining arm of Joe Grbacs restaurant in Melbournes CBD, a more casual dining experience was created called Saxe Kitchen downstairs.
Leveraging on the capital of the existing brand, bespoke type for kitchen was integrated over the top of the wordmark to give a point of difference.
The use of halftones in the Saxe type with the addition of a stamp for kitchen going over it gives a more casual feel on the menu. The look and feel was then applied over signage and dining collateral as well as online and print promotional material.
