In 2021 I took the part-time UX course provided by General Assembly to help me develop my skills in the digital and human-centred environments.
For my class project I was tasked with developing a system which would help beginner gardeners grow plants from scratch.
Through a process of discovery through interviews and competitor research, I was able to define my users problem, develop and test solutions, and produce an initial prototype.
From this experience I have developed a stronger understanding of the UX/UI design process and how I can apply it to my own approach. From this I am looking to apply this strategic and human-centred approach to my work for both traditional and digital design going forward.
